No Man of Her Own: In their one-and-only performance together, the future husband/wife team of Carole Lombard and Academy Award-winner Clark Gable sizzles in this story of a small-town girl and a charming big-city swindler. Babe Stewart (Gable) is a high-priced con man who, after a deal goes bad in New York, decides to lie low in a rural town. Here he meets a lovely librarian (Lombard).
