An isolated island girl makes her living by selling food to the fisherman by day, and her body at night. One day, she sees a man try to kill himself, and stops him by driving an awl through his leg. She takes him back to her cabin and tries to heal his painful agony through sex, which becomes narcotic-like to him, and he soon grows addicted. But when he realizes that he must leave, he discovers that wanting to leave is much easier than actually leaving, as she has grown addicted to him as well.
