Stylish Roger Smith and the unflappable android Dorothy continue their work in Paradigm City. As Memories continue to surface, and there always mysteries to be unraveled. The problem with secrets, however, is that often they are kept hidden for a reason. Take the case of Bonnie, a police officer who was killed over a year ago. His mother, now dying, wants to see him again. Roger, sensing a mystery, agrees to find him, but how will he find a dead man? Roger's sense of refinement also leads him into trouble. When he decides Dorothy's piano playing lacks feeling, he takes her to see a friend of his, but this simple piano lesson uncovers a plot to destroy Paradigm City! And the mysterious lady known as Angel returns, and soon she and Roger find themselves trapped underwater in the middle of a conspiracy to harvest another memory and resurrect a monster from the past.
