A group of environmentalist students explore a swamp in the Amazon and discover that somebody is illegally dumping radioactive waste there. One of their party goes missing but the corrupt Judge, lawman of the local town, wants nothing to do with it as he is responsible for the dumping. Meanwhile a gigantic crocodile appears and begins eating the townsfolk, so a game hunter is sent out to destroy it before any more deaths occur.
