From the director of The Coca-Cola Kid and Sweet Movie, comes an erotic comedy: MONTENEGRO. Marilyn Jordan (Susan Anspach) is a repressed wife trapped in an unloving household who is slowly slipping into quiet madness. Through a mix-up at the airport, she loses track of her husband (Erland Josephson) and misses her flight. She falls in with a bizarre band of Yugoslavian immigrants celebrating the New Year and takes a charismatic young zoo keeper named Montenegro for a lover. We find, however, that nothing lasts forever and Marilyn returns home to her husband. But after this taste of freedom, is she sure to stay?
