Luke returns from tracking the Daltons to find Daisy Town deserted. He witnesses his own funeral but awakens from this hallucination in the desert, the victim of a snakebite. When the Daltons come upon him, they leave him to die and go on to Daisy Town to run amok. Lotta learns of Luke's fate and tries to rescue him with a snakebite antidote but is jailed by the Daltons when they learn of her plan. Luke awakens in the arms of an Indian Princess at a camp populated by Indian maidens. Lotta escapes from jail and sets out to find Luke. Luke awakens in Lott's arms as she gives him the antidote. When the Daltons show up, Luke forces them to make restitution to the town. Lotta is left wondering if the Indian Princess was real as Luke rides away.
