The story of a man who believed he could rewrite destiny. Shanker swaps his new born son with the son of Ashok Babu, a rich singer so that his son will grow up in a better environment than he did but things don't go as planned. Ashok's son, Dharam is drawn to music, despite Shanker trying to teach him his trade, whil Shanker's real son becomes involved in the underwolrd despite the wealth that surrounds him.
