Kyouta should be having the time of his life: The debut of his band has been set and beautiful girls are throwing themselves at him! Instead, he's singing the blues as the mystical war begins to heat up and his long time friend, Yoriko, gives him the cold shoulder, as she becomes a rising movie star. But her shoulders aren't the only part of her that's turned cold.
Denying her destiny, Yoriko joins with Abuto, manager for the IJF talent agency, and a Mindbreaker bent on using her powers to further his own ends. With the Darklore, Kanae, already under his control, Abuto further strengthens his power when a jealous Kiriko sings on in an attempt to be near Kyouta.
A bewildered Kyouta can't seem to understand why peoople suddenly want to kill him or what's behind the sudden coldness in Yoriko's heart. Can he save her from the darkness sucking at her soul while keeping his own intact as well?
