Tae-Hi has little faith in relationships and believes that he may not be able to love a woman. Yeong-Seo, living in Cheju Island, is waiting for love, but keeps her distance from men. Tae-Hi heads for Cheju Island, lured by a postcard from a friend who has not returned, who is having the time of his life. Yeong-Seo, a tour guide, accompanies tourists to the Cheju Airport, where she chases a pickpocket who has stolen a tourist's purse. Tae-Hi who has just arrived, comes to her aid.
He then suggests that she become his guide and she accepts. They take in the Island together as if they were a couple. However, they quietly question their love, based on the short time that they have known one another. Both begin mentally preparing for an eventual breakup, unless their new found love is strong enough to keep them together.
