Andrews is Judith Farrow, an attractive widow who works for the British Foreign Office. Whilst holidaying in the Caribbean she meets and falls in love with Russian military attaché, Feodor Sverlov (Sharif). Their affair stirs up accusations and counter-accusations from both the Russian and the British governments, and in an attempt to clear their name they stumble across some dangerous information.
