The Good News: Keitaro has been accepted as the new manager of the Hinata Apartments. The Bad News: He and Naru have both failed the Tokyo University entrance exams. Wanting to heal their battered psyche, they both decide separately on a trip to Kyoto in order to relieve their anxiety. It's a bad case of mistaken identity as these two "strangers" hit it off - sort of. Meanwhile, the rest of the group has decided to mount a "rescue mission." But just who exactly is rescuing whom?
