A brutal killer is on the loose in Tokyo, murdering women in the subway.
Setsuko, a brilliant and beautiful investigator is assigned to catch the killer. She uses her ability to think like him in order to get closer, hoping to trap him. The trail leads to another psychologist, Aku, who Setsuko used to date. He becomes the prime suspect in the investigation. As she gets closer to finding the final pieces, she becomes convinced that Aku's de-brainwashing techniques may have something to do with the string of murders.
