A young jackk Nicholson wrote, co-produced, and co-starred in Ride in the Whirlwind, the tale of two hired cattle hands who run across a hanged man, the result of vigilante justice. then they stop at a cabn where they are offered food, drink and shelter, but unknowngly these hospitable men are in fact murderous outlaws. A vengeful sheriff and his entourage soon surround the cabin, and the two cattle hands find themselves caught in the crossfire.
